How long until I receive my fabulous glasses?
All our lovely products are made to order and it takes a little while to get them looking perfect. The timescales for recieving your order will depend on the shipping option you choose at Checkout. You can see more about these options below. Please note that deliveries to Scotland and Northern Ireland may take a few days longer than the timescales stated. Whichever speed you go for we promise all our items are well worth the wait! To keep you informed, you will receive an email as soon as the glasses are picked up by the delivery fairies.
How much to get my sparkly glitter glasses delivered? Go on - how much?
For UK orders where your postcode starts with one of the following, please add one working day to the timescales shown below:
AB, BT, DD, FK, HS, IM, IV, KA, KW, PA, PH, TR and ZE
For UK orders to all other postcodes:
Standard Delivery: Choose this option and your order will reach you within FIVE WORKING DAYS - Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. This services costs £7 per order as we have to ask our delivery fairies to run VERY fast to get to you. Sent tracked via UPS.
No Rush Delivery: Choose this option and your order will reach you within TEN WORKING DAYS - Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. Just £5.39 for orders up to £60, or if you are lovely enough to spend £60 on our gorgeous, sparkly products - how fabulous is that? Sent tracked via UPS.
Collection: If you're lucky enough to be fairly local to The Glitter Emporium (Gillingham, Kent), why not pop in, say hello, collect your order and not pay a penny in postage???
We want to get your glittered goodies to you as quickly as possible and your delivery will be made by UPS. On occassions, if you are not home when UPS try to deliver to you, they will take your delivery to a local "Access Point" where you can pick it up later that same day - how clever is that? Please click here to find your local UPS Access Point.
Can I choose the colour of the writing to go on my lovely, sparkly glass?
You certainly can! For most glasses we can offer black, silver or gold writing. If you don't request a specific colour we use whichever colour we think looks best but if you have a preference please just leave a note in the "special instructions" box at the checkout page. But please don't be silly and ask for silver writing on a silver glass!
Can I collect my order?
Yes of course! We are located in Gillingham, Kent. Please select COLLECTION from the range of delivery options offered.
The glasses will stay glitterlicious, won't they?
Yes! The glasses are sealed and waterproof. To keep your glasses in tip-top condition please see our care instructions.
Can the glasses be put in the dishwasher?
A bit like your favourite kitten, we would not recommend it due to the high temperatures. If you've not taken a peek already, have a quick look at our care instructions.
Will my glasses be in one piece when the delivery fairies land?
We use the same delivery fairies as Santa uses at his peak period and therefore they take really good care of your sparkly glasses. Before they leave our factory the glasses are well packed in a box with bubble wrap.
Where's the catch? Are the glasses for "display purposes only"?
No! How dare you say that?!?! All glitter, glue and sealer used are non-toxic and we have tested the glasses on relatives we are not that fond of and they're still standing! :-( You will be following those special care instructions, won't you?
But hold on a minute - don't you need an Alcohol Licence to sell lovely, sparkly bottles of bubbly?
Yes we do, and yes we have! It's taken a lot of time, money and effort to secure the appropraite licence and we are very grateful to the lovely Licensing Officers at Medway Council for working with us on our mission to bring you the loveliest, sparkliest, glitterist products on the planet.
I think I might just occassionally like one glass too many...
